Are you interested in the future of recreation access management on public lands in southwestern Alberta?I am a graduate student at the University of Calgary in the Faculty of Environmental Design. I am conducting a study on how recreation users perceive access management issues on public lands in southwestern Alberta, and how recreation users wish to be involved in public consultation for access management planning for public lands in southwestern Alberta. The purpose of this research is to explore how to most effectively engage recreation users and other regional stakeholders in public consultation, in order to realize successful access management planning for public lands in southwestern Alberta. I am seeking individuals who are recreation users on public lands in southwestern Alberta to fill out on online survey. The online survey will require between 10-15 minutes of your time, and will you require you to respond to approximately 15 questions. By completing an online survey, you will have an opportunity to share your opinions on access management and how you wish to be engaged in public consultation regarding access management. Your input will help to craft a series of recommendations regarding public consultation for access management on public lands in southwestern Alberta.
